This week the Parker kids packed up and headed out to the Golf Course for the annual summer Parks and Rec golf camp. The first couple days were spent learning the proper way to hold golf clubs, golf etiquette, putting and chipping. Today they focused on driving tennis balls with their drivers, and tomorrow they will be playing two holes of golf before their final awards day on Friday! Yes this bottom picture shows many young kids with clubs in hand, practicing their chipping ability. I'm certainly glad they have several high school aged helpers working with the kids, as it looks pretty dangerous to me! :)
